A close-up 3D illustration showing a cross-section of the Ethernet cable, revealing four pairs of twisted colored wires (orange, green, blue, brown) inside a black outer jacket. The text highlights its eight-core double twisted structure for stable and anti-interference performance, noting that thicker conductors provide stronger toughness to extend the cable's lifespan.

Product Overview

Network cables — commonly referred to as Ethernet cables or structured cabling — form the physical infrastructure for data transmission in LANs, data centers and building networks. The cable category determines the maximum bandwidth and data rate supported over a standard 100-meter horizontal cabling run.

RichingPower supplies Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6A cables in both UTP (unshielded) and SFTP (shielded) versions. Bulk reels in 305m boxes are the standard format for structured cabling installations. Pre-terminated patch cords are available for panel room wiring and equipment connections.

All cables are manufactured to ISO/IEC 11801 and TIA-568-C and are available with LSZH jacket for data center and plenum installations. Outdoor-rated PE jacket cables are available for direct burial and external runs between buildings.

Category Selection Guide

Cat5e — 100MHz / 1Gbps
General office LAN, light PoE — most cost-effective for low-density deployments
Cat6 — 250MHz / 1–10Gbps
Modern office structured cabling, PoE+ — standard choice for new installations
Cat6A — 500MHz / 10Gbps
Data center horizontal cabling, PoE++ — recommended for Tier III and above

Network cables supplied by RichingPower are manufactured to the following structured cabling standards. Please specify the required standard and category when submitting an enquiry.

ISO/IEC 11801
International standard for generic cabling for customer premises — Ed. 3 covers Cat5e through Cat8.
TIA-568-C (ANSI)
US standard for commercial building telecommunications cabling systems — widely specified for US projects.
EN 50173
European standard for information technology generic cabling systems — aligned with ISO/IEC 11801.
IEC 60332-3
Flame retardant classification for cables installed in bunched runs in buildings.
IEC 60754 (LSZH)
Halogen content and low smoke emission classification for cables in confined spaces.
IEEE 802.3
Ethernet standard defining physical layer requirements — cables tested for compatibility with 1G, 10G and PoE applications.

Network cables are the foundation of every modern building and data center network. Category selection depends on required bandwidth, link distance and PoE power budget.

Data Center Cabling
Cat6A SFTP for horizontal cabling from patch panels to server rack switches — supports 10Gbps to full 100m and high-density PoE++ for powered devices.
Office Building LAN
Cat6 UTP for horizontal cabling from floor distribution frames to workstation outlets — cost-effective for standard office gigabit networking.
Server Room Patch Panels
Pre-terminated patch cords for panel-to-switch connections, server port connections and equipment room cross-connections.
Campus Networks
Outdoor PE-jacketed Cat6 or Cat6A for direct burial or conduit runs between buildings on university, hospital and industrial campuses.
PoE Systems
Cat6A for PoE++ applications including wireless access points, IP cameras, smart lighting controllers and digital signage requiring up to 90W per port.
Industrial Ethernet
SFTP Cat6A for industrial panel rooms and factory floors — shielded construction provides EMI resistance in environments with heavy electrical equipment.
