Product Overview

Power transformers step voltage up or down between different levels in an electrical distribution system. They are a core component in substations, industrial plants and commercial buildings, connecting medium voltage utility supply to low voltage distribution networks.

RichingPower supplies two main transformer types: dry-type cast resin transformers for indoor installation in buildings and data centers, and oil-immersed transformers for outdoor substations and utility grid applications. Custom winding ratios and enclosure ratings are available for project-specific requirements.

All transformers are manufactured to IEC 60076 and supplied with test reports. Factory acceptance testing (FAT) and third-party inspection are available on request for large project orders.

Dry-type vs Oil-immersed

Dry-type (Cast Resin)
Indoor use, no oil maintenance, self-extinguishing, suitable for buildings, data centers and underground facilities. Class F / H insulation.
Oil-immersed
Outdoor substation use, higher voltage and kVA ratings, ONAN / ONAF cooling, lower cost per kVA for large capacity. Requires oil maintenance.
